About the Symposium

The Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) is undertaking a project funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for establishing an open resources STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) — the STEAM Centre with an Open Resources Environment centre (SCORE) — and providing relevant support to secondary schools to implement STEAM education.

In order to continuously review the development of STEAM education in Hong Kong and overseas, consolidate good practices for dissemination and generate knowledge for transfer, yearly STEAM Symposium will be organized. The first STEAM Symposium will be held on 12 July 2019 at the OUHK. Secondary schools teachers and related stakeholders are welcomed to join the Symposium.
